Novel throw-and-catch mechanism to reduce manufacturing congestion. Built a hardware prototype with microcontrollers, motors, and sensors.

The system uses trajectory prediction to position a motorised catching platform before an object arrives — eliminating the need for manual handoff between workstations and reducing bottlenecks in linear assembly environments.
